Funeral service for Janice Faye (Robinson) Laws, age 73, of Decatur, will be Sunday, August 3, 2014, 2:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Steve Smith officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 2, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Laws, who died Thursday, July 31, 2014, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born February 27, 1941, in Decatur, to Paul Robinson and Lorene McElvana Robinson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kennith Ray Laws.
She is survived by one son, Andy Laws of Decatur; one daughter, Lori Parrish of Decatur; one sister, Lynne Reagan of Madison; and five grandchildren, Spencer Laws, Kristen Parrish, Byron Parrish, Jr., Ella Parrish, and Victoria Parrish.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
