chester-cook-obituaryChester Clarence Cook, Jr. was born January 27, 1942 in Adamsville, TN the son of the late Chester Clarence and Vinnie Landreth Cook. He was united in marriage to Lena Harville on January 23, 1969.

Mr. Clarence worked at General Electric in Selmer TN. as a production worker, and attend the Calvary Baptist Church in Adamsville TN. Some of his favorite pastimes were being outdoors hunting, fishing, riding horses, hiking, and on Sunday afternoons riding in his jeep. He also liked going to Colorado elk hunting and had also guided a few hunts, but mostly he loved spending time with his family and friends.

Mr. Cook departed this life on July 21, 2014 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 72 Years, 5 Months, 24 Days.

He is survived by his wife Lena (Harville) Cook of Adamsville, TN; a daughter, Christie Plunk and husband Anthony of Adamsville, TN; two grandchildren, Carson Brandt Plunk of Adamsville, TN, Payten Suzanne Plunk of Knoxville, TN; one sister, Jennie Daniel and husband Russell of Adamsville, TN, and a sister-in-law Dorothy Carothers of Selmer, TN.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Cook was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Gean; and a brother, Thomas Carothers.
