Jennie Lyle Ellet, 78, of Huntsville, passed away Tuesday. Jennie was preceded in death by her parents, R.D. and Mary Lou Lyle; daughter, Robin Gwynn Ellett and a brother, R. D. Lyle, Jr. She was a member of Ebenezer Presbyterian Church. Jennie was a loving, caring person who always wore a smile.
Survivors include daughter, Sherrye Ellett Davis of Huntsville; sister, Johnnie Lyle Cooper (Jimmy) of Huntsville; grandsons, John Zemla of Auburn, WA and Michael Shayne Campbell (Paula) of Huntsville; great-grandchildren, Callie Zemla, Kira Campbell, Kelsey Campbell and Kevin Russell; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will immediately follow in the chapel with James Daughtry Jr. and Jim Lynch officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery.
