Levante Dominque Strong
DECATUR-Decatur Police Department received a burglary call on Thursday, July 3rd. Here is how they describe the events leading up to the arrest of one suspect:
SYNOPSIS OF OFFENSE & ARREST:
“At about 11:30pm on July 3rd of 2014, the Decatur Police Department received a burglary call in the 500 block of Briarwood Drive SW. The residence returned home from work and found a stranger in her home and called 9-1-1. The suspect fled on foot from the home.
The resident gave a description of the subject as he fled. Within five to eight minutes, a subject matching that description, later identified as Levante Dominque Strong was located and detained several blocks from the residence. Strong was transported to the police department as part of further investigation.
As a result, Levante Dominque Strong was charged with 3rd Degree Burglary. He was processed into the Decatur City Jail and then transferred to the Morgan County Jail in lieu of a $2,500 bond.
Burglary in the Third Degree is a Class C Felony.”
