FLORENCE – When was the last time you visited a local farmer’s market? Been a while? We thought so…
So now comes the opportunity to become a new-convert locavore (a person whose diet consists only or principally of locally grown or produced food) and get yourself some fresh veggies and other stuff in jars such as that southern staple food, chow-chow.
The Florence-Lauderdale Farmer’s Market has been open for a few weeks now, but as the summertime heat and sun are moving into high gear, the booths there are filling up quickly.
So get over there and get some locally produced veggies for yourself!
