On June 8, 2014, our Heavenly Father called another angel home. Cathy Lee Banks Crocker, of Cherokee, AL, was called home to be with her missed loved ones and our almighty Lord at North Okaloosa Medical Center in Crestview, FL. She had lived fifty-seven years. Cathy was born on June 26, 1956, in Detroit, MI. She lived her life in Cherokee, AL, until four years ago when she moved to Florida. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 9:00 p.m., Friday, June 13, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 14, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Wayne Fleming. Interment will follow in Holly Cemetery. Pallbearers include John Pounders, Jr., Troy Lee Pounders, Lee Adams, Jessie Lee Cosby, DeWayne Helton, and Chris Stanfield. Honorary pallbearers include Dennis Blankenship and Ferman Grisham. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Lee Banks; her mother, Avie Joyce Harville Banks; a sister, Mable Louise Cruse; and her loving husband, William Felix Crocker. She is survived by her loving daughter, Catherine Louise Crocker Blankenship (Dennis Blankenship); her loving step-daughter, Sandra Ann Nunley Pounders (John Pounders, Jr.); and three very loving grandchildren, Faith Ashlyn Blankenship, Kassandra Diane Blankenship, and Troy Lee Pounders. She is also survived by a loving sister, Sarah Joyce Banks Cruse, and numerous loving cousins. She was very much loved in this world and will be missed by many.
