Ethel McDonald, 95, of Huntsville, passed away Friday. Mrs. McDonald was preceded in death by her husband, Judge Thomas D. McDonald and a daughter, Mary Ethel McDonald. She retired as a teacher from the Huntsville City School System, having taught at Fifth Avenue and Jones Valley. Ethel was a member of Central Presbyterian Church where she also taught Sunday school and Adult Bible Study. She was a charter member of the AAUW and was also a member of Delta Kappa Gamma Society.
Survivors include nieces, Cathy Consaul of Horizon City, TX and Nancy Nyman of Bangor, MI.
Visitation will be from 10:30 to 11:30 Friday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 12 noon at Maple Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Randall T. Jenkins officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Mary Ethel McDonald Scholarship Fund at Central Presbyterian Church.
