Windell F. Strickland, age 74, of Tuscumbia, died Tuesday, April 22, 2014.Visitation will be Thursday, 10-11 a.m., at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia with the service immediately following.
Windell was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Katie Strickland, and brothers, V. O. (Bill) Strickland and infant Huelon Strickland.He graduated from Florence State College and was retired from TVA.
He enjoyed programming computers, following the stock market, reading science fiction books, and playing chess.
The family would like to express appreciation to his caregivers, especially Evey Maxwell and to Amedisys Hospice.
