FLORENCE – Whenever you see Chef Kevin Kilburn, you can probably expect to find something tasty for dinner. Kilburn, who works his magic through the Shoals Entrepreneurial Center, is contributing to a program that’s being instituted by SPAN of Lauderdale County. It’s an introduction to the culinary arts for some selected young people from the area.

Program Coordinator, Anthony Brooks said, “This is a great way for our young folks to learn some important skills and foster a sense of accomplishment.”

Shoals Entrepreneurial Center Director, Giles McDaniel was on hand to observe the goings on at the Shoals Culinary Center. The space was made available by McDaniel, “That’s what we’re all about… Empowering people.”
