Lynn Carson, 73, of Huntsville, passed away Friday from complications following a stroke. Lynn was born in New Orleans, LA to Lynn Evans Carson, Sr. and Elsie Miller Carson. He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 32 years of service. Mr. Carson was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Janice ‘Jan’ Smith Carson; son, David Scott Carson, his wife, Becky, and their children, Claire Regan and Jackson Thomas, all of Huntsville; sister, Thelma Kern (Clint) of Mandeville, LA; brother, H.W. Carson (Carolyn) of Decatur
Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. Monday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Dr. David Hull and Dr. Mike Oliver officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
