SHEFFIELD-The Helen Keller Hospital Foundation will host their 2014 Spring Event on Friday, May 9 at the Marriott-Shoals Conference Center. The theme of this year’s event is “Hits from the 50’s” and will feature the Big Thrill Band from Nashville, TN. The evening begins at 6 p.m. with a silent auction, followed by dinner and entertainment at 7:30 p.m. An after-party follows with an opportunity to dance to the hits of the decades.
This dinner event is a fundraiser for the Helen Keller Hospital Foundation. The Foundation’s 2014 project is focused on providing additional services and equipment to increase the level of care available to patients in the Helen Keller Hospital Emergency Room. The resources obtained through this project will be used to provide state-of-the-art equipment and allow the hospital to expand the facility to accommodate the growing number of patients seen in the Emergency Room.
