TUSCUMBIA-The Colbert County Sheriff’s Office Received a complaint from a 35 year old woman who claims she was raped. Here is how Colbert County Sheriff’s Office describe the events of Tuesday, April 1st:
“Anthony Ray Mc Cullough, age 47, of 638 Mt Springs RD, Tuscumbia, Al has been charged with Rape 1st degree, Sodomy 1st degree, and Kidnapping 2nd degree. No bond set. Still in Jail.
On 4-1-14(Tuesday) a sexual assault report was filed by a 35 year old female. The victim states that McCullough picked her up around 8:30p and then drove to his home at 638 Mt. Spring Rd. The victim stated that she , a neighbor, and McCullough sat around and talked until about 10pm. The neighbor left and went home. Once the neighbor left the victim stated that McCullough walked to the door and locked it. He then turned around, walked to her and tried to kiss her. The victim stated that she turned her head so he could not kiss her and told him to stop. The victim stated that he started hitting her in the face and head with his fist causing cuts. He then started ripping her cloths off. He ripped all of her cloths off. The victim stated that he forcible raped and sodomized her until approximately 2am. The victim stated that he threatened her and would not let her leave his home. Some time later he let her get dressed and made her go with him to the State Troopers Post, he stated he wanted to check on his CDL. The victim was able to use his cell phone to call her Mother to come and get her. When her Mother arrived at the Trooper Post the victim told her Mom what had happened. The Victim was taken to Keller Hospital. The Colbert County Sheriff’s Office would like to ask any other victims of this suspect to please call the Sheriff’s office.”
