FLORENCE-Do you need help with Medicare enrollment? Learn what you need to know with this program at the library. Classes offered Tuesday, April 8, 10:30 am and 5:00 pm and on Wednesday, April 23, 10:30 am and 5:00 pm. Insurance professionals Karen Haiflich and Tammy Larsen will share their expertise, answer questions, and provide one-on-one help.
Karen Haiflich has been conducting Medicare Educational Meetings at local libraries and other organizations in the Birmingham area for more than two years. They keep inviting her back. She is very good at communicating this important information in an easy to understand format and uses official government material so the correct information is always communicated. She has worked in the insurance industry for many years and now specializes in Medicare and the new health insurance Marketplace.
Tammy Larsen has lived in the Shoals area for 8 1/2 years. She is both an insurance professional and a tax professional. Tammy joined Physicians Mutual Insurance Company in December 2013 and has currently partnered with CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services). Her involvement with CMS is to help educate and inform this generation of Medicare Recipients. Tammy enjoys helping individuals make the best possible choices for their Medicare Enrollment needs.
