Perry Lane Meredith, age 51 of Columbia, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Perry was born May 31, 1962 in Columbia, Tennessee to the late Mary Katherine Calvert Meredith and Bobby Lee Meredith Sr. He was a machine operator for APCOM in Franklin, Tennessee for 34 years. He is described by his family as a hard worker, a man with a heart of gold, and the willingness to please anyone, which made him a great friend to many. Perry also enjoyed hunting and playing the lottery.
Perry’s family will visit with friends on Friday, March 21, 2014 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Mt.Pleasant. Funeral services will also be conducted in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 2:00 PM with Rev. William Owens officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Cemetery.
Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
Survivors include his children: Trevor Joe (Chelsey) Meredith, Stephanie Denise (Charles) Graham, both of Tallapoosa, GA; grandchildren: Haiden Meredith, Maddox Meredith, Bradley Sanders, Scarlet Meredith, Ozzy Pucket, Dominick Graham and LouLou Graham; siblings: Marilyn (Wayne) Thomason, Carolyn Burk, Donna Meredith, Terry Meredith, Bobby Lee (Marcia) Meredith Jr, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and a very best friend: Henry Gorham. Perry is preceded in death by his sister Linda Kay Meredith Sanders.
