Bobby Kirk Henry, age 79, of Tuscumbia, died Sunday, March 16, 2014.
His family will receive friends today, noon-2 p.m., at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. His funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with John Henry, Bob Plunket, and Bruce Blankenship officiating.
Burial will be in Harris Chapel Cemetery, Cherokee.
Bobby was a Colbert County native a member of Tuscumbia Church of Christ and was retired from Ford Motor Company.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mamie and Homer Henry; in-laws, Eston and Olean Johnson; brothers, Carlos Henry and James Henry; sisters, Betty Jean Wainwright, Mary Hazel Malone, and Helen Dobbs; and brother-in-law, Clinton Earl Johnson.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Alice Johnson Henry, of Tuscumbia; daughters, Mona McWilliams (Mike), of Cherokee, and Gina Bonds (John), of Tuscumbia; brothers, Julian Henry, of Tuscumbia, and John Henry, of Florence; sisters, Margie Henry, of Russellville, and Katherine Taylor, of Sheffield; granddaughter, Beth Bonds Horne (Joey), of Tuscumbia; and two great-grandchildren, Gavyn Horne and Kaylee Horne, of Tuscumbia.
Pallbearers are Timothy Henry, Dennis Thrasher, Danny Underwood, Bobby Denton, Dalton Wright, Buddy Bishop, Jimmy Waddle, and Joe Guthrie.
Honorary pallbearers are Ralph Foster, Charles Collum, Fred Kirchner, Ernest Bechard, and Sammy Morris.
