Shelby Jean Chandler Garner, age 75, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014 at NHC Healthcare of Lawrenceburg in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, a homemaker, and a member of College Place Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Lee and Bessie Weaver Smith; her first husband, Lavaughn Chandler; her second husband, Grady Garner; one sister, Mary Eells Henson; and two brothers, Larry Smith and David Smith.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, March 17, 2014 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 18, 2014, with Jerry McLain and Beth Hammonds Phillips officiating. Interment will follow at O K Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN. Family suggests memorials be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
