FLORENCE-The University of North Alabama celebrated the opening of their newest addition, The Student Commons. The celebration took place March 2nd with a ribbon cutting and tour of the building.
The Student Commons is home to expanded food vendors and the hopes of the University administration is to attract community members to the campus as well as a place for faculty and students to congregate. The building also houses the University Success Center on the second floor.
This is a great facility and a wonderful addition to the campus as well as The Shoals. We have pictures taken by The Shoals Chamber of the celebration.
