26th annual Hospice of Limestone County Chili Challenge

chili challengerATHENS-Just a reminder you that the 26th annual Hospice of Limestone County Chili Challenge is this Saturday (February 22) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Athens High School. Cost is $10 and includes lunch, tasting chili made by 32 challenges (including our own Athens Police Department) and voting for your favorite, entertainment and bidding on silent auction items. We have a gorgeous handmade large scale birdhouse and a handmade dulcimer, an autographed baseball from Atlanta Braves closer Craig Kimbrel, jewelry, and more. You can buy tickets now by calling 256-232-5017 or at the door.

Hospice is the only non-profit Hospice in Limestone County, and it provides in-home respite workers, indigent care that is non-funded care and non-Hospice bereavement counseling. It also provides Camp Hope, a bereavement support program for children that helps an average of 60 children each year.
