Barbara Worrell Chisler, 72, passed away Wednesday. Mrs. Chisler is survived by her husband of 53 years, Lanny Keith Chisler; daughter, Elizabeth Sudderth (John); son, Keith; grandchildren, Evan and Caroline, all of Huntsville; sisters, Kathy White (Mike), and Sharyn Hurlburt; and mother-in-law, Sybil Chisler.
Mrs. Chisler was born in Pineville, WV, and moved to Huntsville in 1964. She graduated from Concord College with a degree in Education. She taught at Ridgecrest Elementary and worked for Dr. Don E. Shotts DMD (deceased) until retirement in the early 1990s.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 16 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Coy Hallmark officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Greater Huntsville Humane Society or to the American Cancer Society
