Willard Walker was born June 1, 1923 in Selmer, TN the son of the late Everett and Mary Ward Walker. He was united in marriage to his wife of 68 years Pauline Murray on December 1, 1945.
Mr. Walker was a retired automobile mechanic for Car City in Selmer TN. and had previously worked for Hively Motor Company also located in Selmer . He was a member of the Better Hope Primitive Baptist Church in Adamsville TN. Some of his favorite pastimes were hunting, fishing, gardening, farming, and hunting ginseng.
Mr. Walker departed this life on February 4, 2014 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 90 Years, 8 Months, 3 Days.
He is survived by his wife Pauline (Murray) Walker of Selmer, TN; a daughter, Becky Kiestler and husband Harold of Selmer, TN; two sons, Joe Walker and wife Cathy, of Selmer TN; Kevin Walker of Selmer, TN; a sister, Dortha Jean Naylor and husband Buford of Bethel Springs, TN; five grandchildren, Ginger Lauderdale, Nicholas Walker, Chrissy Tyer, Ashley Hale and husband Luke, Steven Thacker; seven great grandchildren, Chase Jones, Neleh Jones, Addisyn Lauderdale, Carmen Lee and husband Greg, Robbin Tyer, Alyssa Hale, Kaine Hale; and a grt-grt-grandchild, Brently Lee.
Mr. Walker was preceded in death by his parents.
