Funeral services for Rev. Dennis A. Reeves, age 84, are scheduled for 1 PM, Tuesday, December 17, 2013 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home with Bro. Don Franks officiating. Interment will follow in Darden Cemetery. Bro. Reeves passed away Sunday in Lexington. He was born May 11, 1929 in Henderson County to the late Leslie A. and Elizabeth Ann Wood. He was a retired life insurance salesman and Baptist Minister, preaching for 40 years at area churches, including Corinth Baptist Church and Judson Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his three brothers, Lee, Clovis, and Homer Reeves, an infant brother, and his sister, Ester Shannon. Survivors include his three daughters, Sylvia Fowler and Mary Smith of Lexington, and Elizabeth (Mike) Mayes of Cadiz, KY, two sons, Aaron (Tina) Reeves of Mt. Juliet and Anthony (Glenda) Reeves of Parsons, 10 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren
