Geneva Ruth McFall Harper – Obituary

Mrs. Geneva Ruth McFall Harper, 83 years old, died Nov. 13, 2013, at ECM Hospital. She was a native of Wayne County, Tenn. and a member of East Florence Church of Christ. She was a homemaker and a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed her family and friends.

Visitation will be today at Greenview Funeral Home at noon with the funeral following at 2 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel. Officiating will be Shawn Smith. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.

Mrs. Harper was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Everett Glenn Harper; parents, Claude and Ollie Holt McFall; and brothers, Verlon and Allen McFall.

She is survived by her sons, Glenn (Fidelis) Harper, Jerry (Joyce) Harper, and David (Carla) Harper; daughter, Pam (Ken) Romine; grandchildren, Melissa (Jeff) Hester, Melanie (Steven) Spurgeon, Patrick (Kendra) Harper, Amy Harper, Todd (Keli) Romine, April (David) Clark, Alex Harper, and Chandler Harper; great-grandchildren, James Speck, MiKayla Hester, Rachel Hester, Hunter Romine, Darby Clark, Noah Hester, Jayce Romine, Brady Hester, Jesse Clark, Rylan Romine; sister, Beatrice (Emerald) Bailey, of Cypress Inn, Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be sons, Glenn Harper, Jerry Harper, and David Harper; son-in-law, Ken Romine; grandsons, Patrick Harper, Alex Harper, Chandler Harper, and David Clark.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association .

The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Robert Mann, special caregivers, Stephanie Moore, Tammi Thompson, and special niece, Cathy Collins.
