Gregory Michael Shockley, the only child of Greg and Vickie Shockley, born on Sept. 1, 1977, passed away Sunday, Nov. 3rd, 2013. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 10 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Spry~Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Kenny Rogers and Brother Lowranzy Overton officiating. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be special friends and relatives.

He was a member of the United Pentecostal Church of Greenhill.

He left behind his 8 year old twins, the loves of his life, Savannah Lynn Shockley and Gregory Michael Shockley, II.

Michael had a God given talent for music. He began playing piano at age five and loved his time in Brooks High School band as leader of the drumline, even after high school going back and working with the band drumline at Loretto High School, Wilson High School, and Brooks High School.

A special thanks to Clay Holden, Michael’s buddy who stood by Michael in good times and bad times. All through high school up until the day Michael truly found the grace and mercy of a loving savior as Jesus flooded his soul in love and forgiveness.
