Nadine Goad, 88, of Huntsville, passed away Monday. Ms. Goad was a native of Lauderdale County and lived in Florence until moving to Huntsville in 1995 to live with and close to her caregivers, her nieces, Marilyn Craig and Bonnie McCrary. Ms. Goad was a member of Whitesburg Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sister, Jean Smith of Hartselle; and nephews, Fred Smith and Jim Smith of Hartselle, Tom Smith of Town Creek, and J. R. Goad of Florence; and niece, Bonnie McCrary of Huntsville.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Mt. Tabor Methodist Church Cemetery in Florence.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Whitesburg Baptist Church Food Pantry, 6806 Whitesburg Drive, Huntsville, AL 35802.
