Killen man being held on child pornography charges

David E. Gray – Arrested for child pornography possession

FLORENCE – A Killen man is being held at the Florence/Lauderdale Detention Center after he was arrested Friday afternoon on more than 150 counts of child pornography. This afternoon about 4:00pm, Florence Police took into custody 31-year old David E. Gray, of 450 Brush Creek Road, Killen.

Police say that Gray had stored on 9 hard drives more than 150 photographs of child pornography. The Quad-Cities Daily has learned that a family member discovered the photographs and notified authorities.

Gray is being held on a $750-thousand bond. His first appearance in court is expected to occur in the first part of next week. As more news develops, The Quad-Cities Daily will report.
