Graveside service for Amanda Lucille Fancher, 87, of Hartselle, will be Tuesday, September 3, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Cullman City Cemetery, with Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home directing.
Miss Fancher died Friday, August 30, 2013, at Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham. She was born July 15, 1926, in Jefferson County to Alvinton Carraway Fancher and Katie Bogue Fancher. She retired from Bellsouth in 1978 after 20 years of service. She was preceded in death by her sister, Kathryn Arrington.
She is survived by her neice, Cynthia A. Moss of Birmingham; three great-nieces, Christy Mickle, Dawn Twetters and Mandy Willoughby, of Birmingham.
The family will also have a memorial service in honor of “Aunt Sis” on Thursday, September 5, 2013, at Shades Mountain Baptist Church in Birmingham.
