James Paul Hewett, age 73, of Florence, passed away Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013.
Visitation will be noon-2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 2 at Spry~Williams Funeral Home, Florence. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Mr. Hewett was owner of Hewett Shoes for over 30 years and a member of Masonic Lodge for 50 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dwight and Annie Hewett.
Survivors include his wife, Rose Hewett; children, Kimberly Patterson (Dennis), James Hewett Jr., and Jason Hewett (Kelli); grandchildren, Sophie and Chloe Patterson, Branton and Ella Kate Hewett, and twin girls on the way.
