Nelson Ross “Ozzie” Smith, 50, of Lewisburg, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at Genesis Nursing Facility in Fayetteville, Tennessee. Born October 15, 1962, he was the son of the late Freddie Ross Smith and Edith Mae Pack Bowen. He was preceded in death by sister, Jana Graviet, Grandfather, Harrison Pack, Grandparents, Leo & Verona Smith.
He liked to watch wrestling and was a member of Cash Point Baptist Church.
He is survived by mother Edith Bowen and husband Wayne Bowen, Lewisburg, TN; brothers, Tony Smith, Lewisburg, TN; Freddie Smith, Madison, TN; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, July 25, 2013, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Dale Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM up until service time at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 25, 2013, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home.
