Police offer reward for man accused of raping infant

NASHVILLE– The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is looking for a Huntsville man accused of sexual assault involving an infant.

Anthony Dean Blackwell, 24, is charged with one count of rape of a baby.  His last known address is 3012 Johnson Road, Huntsville, Alabama.

 

Anthony Dean Blackwell is wanted by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the Pulaski Police Department for Rape of a Child. On June 9, 2013
the incident occurred while Blackwell was babysitting the victim, a four month old child. Upon the return of the baby’s mother, she noticed signs of trauma to
the child that were later determined to be injuries suffered from sexual abuse. The victim underwent surgery at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital. Blackwell may
be in the Pulaski, Tennessee or Huntsville, Alabama area. Anthony Dean Blackwell has been charged with one count of Rape of a Child and a warrant is on file.

 

Blackwell is a white male.  He has brown hair and blue eyes, is 6’, weighs approximately 225 pounds and has a tattoo on his right arm.

Blackwell has a criminal record with charges including public intoxication, reckless driving, evading arrest, vandalism, traffic and noise violations, and driving under the influence. He has been arrested in Pulaski as well as Maury County, TN.

Blackwell is believed to be in the Pulaski or Huntsville area.
