ECM Hospital Names New Boss

Russell Pigg ECM Hospital CEO

FLORENCE, AL – February 29, 2012 – Officials at RegionalCare Hospital Partners announced today that Russell Pigg has been named Chief Executive Officer at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital. Mr. Pigg comes to ECM from his most recent post as Chief Executive Officer at 225-bed Dyersburg Regional Medical Center in Dyersburg, Tenn. His first day at ECM is expected to be April 2, 2012.

John Rutledge, President and Chief Operating Officer for RegionalCare Hospital Partners, said, “We are very pleased to have Russell join us as CEO at Eliza Coffee. He has all the right skills and experience to lead ECM into its very exciting future. He has great success in the areas of physician recruiting, employee and patient satisfaction, and quality care.”

While interim CEO of Gateway Medical Center in Clarksville, Tenn., Pigg oversaw the

construction and opening of the $200 million Gateway Medical Center. Rusell Pigg said, “My family and I are very excited to be coming to Florence and Eliza Coffee

Memorial Hospital. The Shoals is like home to me as my father’s family is from this region. I grew up in Lawrence County. My wife is from the Nashville area, and we know this is a great place to make a home for our family.”
