- Beloved wife, mother, sister, friend, and faithful disciple of Jesus Christ, Linda Kaye Warren, passed away peacefully the morning of Friday, April 19th, 2024. Linda was born to Orrin “Red” and Dortha “Dottie” Merrill in Idaho, 1950. As a military family, Linda moved often. In her later years, Linda filled her days quilting, having lunch with her many friends, serving in her Church and temple callings, and making everyone she came in contact with feel important and loved. She had an unwavering testimony and a light that could not be dimmed. She is survived by her husband, Robert Warren Sr, her children: Jodie (Mike) Parker, Melanie (Sean) Litton, Kimberly (Brad Kleinschmidt) Koch, Karissa (Charlie) Mann, and Robert (Jessica) Warren Jr, with 12 wonderful grandchildren, and 5 beautiful great-grandchildren with another expected to arrive in July. She is also survived by her brother Todd (Kathy) Merrill and sister Kathie (Jim) Whitson. Linda was insistent that there be no funeral service for her because she didn’t want anyone to feel sad, so there will be a Celebration of Life to honor and remember her on Wednesday, 24 April, 2024 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1297 Slaughter Road, Huntsville, AL from 5:00-7:00pm. Colorful, casual attire is encouraged, because Linda loved all things bright and happy. In lieu of flowers or donations, please honor Linda by performing an act of service for someone because that was how she lived her life. Linda’s final words were, “It’s all good. It’s going to be okay. Just laugh and find the joy.”
